Tian Wu Dao (formerly Jie Dai) has been around since 1998. We have three main branches in the state of Washington in the United States. These branches usually are centered around Universities, and we try to incorporate studies into our social interactions as well as martial arts. Our group has a presence in Seattle, Bellingham, Pullman, Spokane, Taiwan, Australia, and Japan among various other places and we recently became recognized as a non-profit organization in the US.

We train in many different styles so that each person can find a technique or style of their own that works for them. We take what you know and combine it with what we know, it is a sharing experience. We mix and match styles to suit individual body types, abilities, and needs. One of the core goals of our organization is to better our communities, that is partly why we maintain free membership. As a club we have workouts where we train various styles with each other, anyone no matter their level of experience or skill is welcome to train in these workouts. We also offer various services including self-defense seminars, event security, volunteer community projects, demonstrations, and other services.

Some of the styles/disciplines we practice include (but are not limited to):

BaGua (Gao)
Tae Kwon Do
Aikido
Judo
Traditional Jujitsu
Brazilian Jujitsu
Capoeira
Jeet Kune Do
Boxing
Huek Choo Kwan Hapkido
Hung Gar
Parkour

We also incorporate various types of conditioning and tumbling/acrobatics/tricking/gymnastics into our workouts. Please check out our calendar of events to find out what workout is going on nearest to you. Basically, we let every member be as involved as they want to be and share their interests with us as we share ours with you.
